Kale Chips

These chips are a fun side to a meal. They are also a healthier snack alternative to potato chips and quite possibly the easiest thing to make.

Ingredients:
1 Head of Kale (any kind of kale will work)
Freshly Ground Sea Salt
Few Splashes of Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1. Wash all kale thoroughly and pat dry with a towel. Wrip the tough stems out of the kale and break the rest of the kale into small pieces.
2. Arrange kale on a baking sheet. (You may need to use two baking sheets as you don't want to pile the kale up too much.)
3. Splash a bit of olive oil over the kale and put a few dashes of sea salt on the kale. Using your hands mix the kale up so it is evenly coated in olive oil and salt.
4. Bake in the oven at 325 degrees for 10-15 minutes. The kale should be crispy and not soggy. If it is soggy you will need to throw it back in there.

I removed some of the kale at around 12 minutes and let the rest of it crisp up. Be careful not to hurt your hands when you move the hot kale to a plate as the oil will be very hot!
